David Busienei, Chairman of the CSOs Engagement Forum on Financing Locally-Led Climate Action (FLLoCA), facilitated a session on understanding FLLoCA during the ongoing Ideas2Impact Fellowship by Greenspace Action & Network Org, supported by the World Bank Group and the National Treasury.
He highlighted FLLoCA’s role in strengthening locally-led climate action, its key achievements, the challenges encountered, and the position of young people in climate governance and financing.
His insights helped fellows understand the importance of community-driven climate solutions, meaningful youth participation, and collaboration between civil society and government in advancing climate resilience and ensuring that young people contribute to shaping sustainable climate policies.
