MuemAction Post is honored to have joined the Sokoni Agribusiness Expo held last week at the Kenya School of TVET in Nairobi. The Expo brought together stakeholders from government, civil society, development partners, and the private sector, with vibrant exhibitions showcasing innovations, products, and solutions shaping the future of agriculture.
During the event, MuemAction Post’s Executive Director, Boniface Harrison, participated in a panel discussion themed “Young, Bold and Breaking Barriers – Agribusiness Startups Changing the Game.”
In his remarks, Harrison highlighted MuemAction Post’s work in building the capacity of young people to venture into climate-smart agribusiness. He emphasized the need for a mindset shift that recognizes agriculture as a profession filled with innovation, opportunity, and growth potential.
He also shared insights on how youth can leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to boost productivity and decision-making in farming. Additionally, he stressed the importance of policy interventions that strengthen youth involvement and create enabling environments for sustainable agribusiness ventures.
“Youth are the backbone of agribusiness transformation. With the right skills, tools, and supportive policies, they can lead the shift towards sustainable, climate-smart agriculture,” said Boniface Harrison, Executive Director of MuemAction Post.
