Boniface Harrison, Executive Director of MuemAction Post, has been elected to the Nairobi County Youth Forum (CYF) Committee under the Sheria Ya Vijana Project. The project is funded by the European Union in Kenya and implemented by partners including the Organization of African Youth – Kenya (OAY), WeWorld Kenya, Barnfonden (Sweden), Stretchers Youth, and Action for Sustainability Initiative (AFOSI). He will serve for a period of three years.
The election was conducted during the onboarding training for selected youth-led CBOs and social enterprises in Nairobi, held at YMCA Central. This brought together young leaders and organizations committed to advancing climate and environmental action, youth participation and development.
The Sheria Ya Vijana Project is being implemented in Nairobi and Kwale counties, aiming to directly reach more than 5,000 youth and impact over one million more indirectly through advocacy and youth-led initiatives.
Boniface was elected through a Nairobi County process involving youth-led organizations. He will serve alongside other elected members, including Lydia Wanja and Kevin Mathanu, while additional committee members will be nominated by the implementing partners.
He is a committed young leader who leads by action. His leadership journey spans experience as a Secretary General of the Technical University of Kenya, corporate practice, and leading transformative projects at MuemAction Post with local and international partners. His work focuses on climate action, digital skills, and civic engagement, empowering young people to take part in shaping a better future.

Together with fellow committee members, he is expected to champion youth opportunities in the green and digital transition while supporting meaningful youth participation in leadership and decision-making.
