HARRISON\’S HURRY ON HELB LOAN DISBURSEMENT.

Most students especially in public universities rely on the HELB loan to clear their fees and also get upkeep money.It becomes frustrating when this money is delayed at a time like this when it\’s at the beginning of the year and pockets are torn.

The purpose of a leadership is to represent,negotiate for and to take front in progressive courses of action.In this Boniface Muema Harrison among other leaders has proven to be a suitable example.

Here is the statement he sent last night through his social media accounts:
\’There is a nation wide delay in the disbursement of the HELB loan at a time when most students are in need especially for upkeep money.Today I followed up from our university administration and they reported to have already submitted reopening status.The back now falls at the ministry and Higher Education Loans Board.We will keep an eye but if then there\’s any cause for alarm,we will be there to act accordingly\’
