Our Executive Director, Boniface Harrison, had the honour of reading the Kenya National Youth Climate Statement during LCOY Kenya 2026.
The statement brings together what young people across Kenya are calling for, from better access to climate finance and meaningful participation in decision making to stronger climate resilience, health, sustainable agriculture and peace.
It also highlights the need for a circular economy, green skills and decent jobs that can create opportunities for young people.
As Kenya looks towards COP31, the statement gives young people a platform to share their priorities, ideas and solutions and to be part of shaping the climate action agenda.
